THE EXPLOSION AT PALERMO
SEVENTY-TWO BODIES RECOVERED. Received* December 27. 8.43 a.m. ROME, December 26. Seventy-two bodies have been recovered from the ruins of the arms factory at Palermo, Sicily, where an explosion occurred a few days ago. ~ (In addition to the killed, it is estimated that over one hundred persons were injured. The explosion took place in a building in which a quantity of explosives had been illegally stored).
