WEDDINGS.

FLAWS-PHYSICK

' At St. Matthew's Church, on I Tuesday afternoon last, MrT. Flaws, jm\, eldest son of Mr T. Flaws, snr., of Masterton, was married to Miss M. A. Physick, only daughter of Mrs Allen, of Masterton. The bride wore a dress of cream silk taffeta with satin train, and the usual urange blossoms and veil, and carried a shower bouquet. She was given away by her brother, Mr C. Physick. The bridsmaids were Misses M. A. Gordon, E. Flaws, E. E. Franks and A. Gordon, all of whom were dressed in cream silk lustre trimmed with cream lace and wore white hats trimmed with pink roses. Mr B. Iveson was best man, and Mr F. E. Baker was groomsman. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. M. Johnson. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a dagger brooch set with rubies and pearls, and to the bridesmaids gold brooches each. A large number of guests were present at the wedding breakfast, which was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs Allen, Bannister Street. Mr and Mrs Flaws, jnr., left in the afternoon for their home in Wellington. The bride's travelling dress was a purple costume with .cream trimmings, and hat to match. MUIR-HEWITT. At the Masterton Methodist Church, on Christmas Day, Mr Herbert F. Muir, of Masterton, son of Mr F. Muir, of Greytown, was married to Miss Violet E. Hewitt, daughter of Mr Henry Hewitt, of Masterton. Miss Amy Muir, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Ethel Church, were the bridesmaids, and Mr J. B. Nicol was best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. N. Buttle. Mr G. E. Greaves was groomsman. The bride was attired in white silk trimmed with chiffon. She woie the orthodox veil, and orange blossoms, and carried a handsome bouquet. The bridesmaids wore cream delaine dresses with white hats to match, and carried shower bouquets. WOODLEY—CHAL LIS. At St. Mark's Church, Carterton, yesterday, Miss Evelyn Maud Challis, daughter of Mr W. Challis, was married to Mr Charles Woodley, son of Mr John Woodley. Mr G. H. Medes was best man, and the bride was given away by Mr F. J. The Rev. R. Young, Vicar of St. Mark's, conducted the marriage ceremony.
