Shackleton, in command of the South Pole expedition, states that the Premier has made arrangements with the Union Steamship Company for the towing of the Niir.rod to the pack ice by the Koonya. The Nimrod will leave Lyttelton at 4 p.m., on January Ist, and will pick up the Koonya outside the Heads.
