Herve, leader of the anti-mili-tarist agitation, has been sentenced to one year's imprisonment, and fined £l2O, on a charge of libelling the army and navy. M.'M. Vigo and Meile, his colleagues on the newspaper i,"Laguerre Sociale" were condemned to five years' imprisonment, and fined a similar amount.
