Illegally Procuring Liquor.

INVERCARGILL, December 23. A young man, who left the district while a charge of procuring liquor while being prohibited was pending against him, was arrested at Clinton this morning. ; In the afternoon he was brought before Mr McCarthy, S.M., and fined £5 and costs. He was also charged with stealing property belonging to a person unknown, from a railway carriage, and remanded.
