STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows on their Eketahuna sale yesterday:—All sheep entered came forward, and more cattle came in than were advertised. Bidding for sheep was fairly brisk. Cattle were dull. We quote:—Fat ewes and wethers 15s Bd, store ewes lis Id, ewe hoggets (poor and small) to 13s lid, 2-tooth wethers to 14s 9d. wearier pigs 13s 3d to 14s 7d, 3-year steers to £4 17s 6d, fat and forward cows £3 5s to £4 10s, 2J-year steers to £4, 2£-year heifers to £2 15s, springing cows £3 15s to £4 2s, aged cows with calves at foot £2 ss, yearling heifers 255, weaner pigs 13s 3d to 14s 7d.
