MR SLATER'S LAST SITTING

EULOGISTIC REFERENCES AND PRESENTATIONS.

By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, December 20. Mr R. Slater, the retiring member of the Arbitration Court, sat as a member of the Court lor the last time, to-day, and eulogistic references to his work were made by counsel engaged in the cases heard to-day. Presentations were made to Mr Slater by the officers of the Court, and by Mr S. Brown, the employers' representative on the Court.
