METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m., yesterday, Captain Edwin issued the following forecast:-r Wind—Strong to gale from the southward at most places from East Cape, Taupo, and New Plymouth, southward; moderate to strong westerly winds elsewhere. Barometer—Rise everywhere. Rain is probable generally. Warning signals for westerly gale is exhibited at East Cape and for southerly gale at Capes Campbell, Foulwind, Farewell Spit and Nugget Point.
