Hot Weather in Gisborne.

GISBORNE, December 18. The thermometer registered up to 99 degrees in the shade to-day, which is eight degrees higher than has ever previously been experienced here. On Monday the maximum register was 91. Only on four previous occasions has that heat been registered in Gisborne.
