THE DRUCE CASE.
CALDWELL'S EVIDENCE UNRELIABLE. SYDNEY, December 14. Counsel for the prosecution in the Druce case have stated that they will no ionger rely on Caldwell's evidence. (Robert Caldwell, of New York, once called by an American paper a "humourous romancer," gave some evidence of a "surprising" nature during the hearing of the perjury charge against Herbert Druce.)
