Mr J. Cotter and family, of Greytown, returned home on Thursday I night, after an extensive tour of England. The vacancy on the staff of the Martinborough Post Office, caused by the removal of Mr Smith to Gore, has been filled by Mr T. G. Anderson. Mr Adam Donald, an ex-resident of Featherston, who has until lately been acting as the representative of the Labour Department at •Gisborne, has been appointed Inspector of Scaffoldings for the Cook -County.
