THE RUSSELL CARS AND MOTOR VEHICLES.
The following- is an extract from the Scientific American: "The Canada Motor and Cycle Co., of Toronto, have placed several commercial vehicles on the . market, and the same will be of interest to the business people of all countries. The experimental stage is past; and it will be found that a reliable commercial vehicle can be procured in Canada at a lower figure than has hitherto been possible. The commercial vehicle is an investment, and as such must be thoroughly reliable and economical. The question of 'upkeep' is all-important and has been held strictly in view in the design and construction of the 'Russell' Commercial Cars. These machines have not been rushed out from the hands of the designer and machinist to the first customer in si ;ht. Before they offered a single truck for sale they built one of each model and used them summer and winter in place of horses for the hauling of their factory freight and the daily delivery of their own goods. They have done the experimenting themselves, and now feel confident that the machines are able to do all the work they claim, and their motor cars are incomparable in beauty of design, select in finish, and magnificent in efficiency. The prices of 18-h.p. Russell' cars range from £450, and are indisputably the best value in the motor world at the present day. Their makers claim for them that they 'stand impregnable in their efficiency and marvellous in their construction.' " Write to T. Dwyer and Co., Central Garage and ; Talkeries, Masterton, for an instructive and illustrated catalogue air.l trial run.
