EX TELEGRAPH —PKEJS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, December 12. At the wool sales to-day 17,000 bales were offered, a large portion of which was passed in. There was little demand for wool at holders' values, but merinos fetched*-9d to 9|d; medium to good halfbred super, lid to 12£ d; medium to good, Bj|d to 10Jd; inferior, to B£d; threequarterbred super, 9d to 10^d; medium to good, s|d to B|d; inferior, 6Jd to 8d; crossbred super, 9J to 10£ d; medium goo 3, 7|d toß|d; inferior, 6d to 7§d; long wool super, to 7d; down medium good, BJd to The above prices show better than last sale, this being accounted for by the superiority of the wool.
