Pearls are of fine quality, properly set in the gold, and do not fall out. All gems are also of excellent quality. Brushes and Mirrors are made witli the metal stout enough to stand ordinary wear, and are not loaded with pitch, as is often done. The bristles and glass are of host quality. We have a large stock of Pearls, Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds, Oli vines, Sapphires, Opals and Turquoises unmounted. We would call attention to the quality and value of our goods. Nominations for all events and Entries for the Maiden Hack Race, close with the Secretary at the ofilce of the Club, Hulls, on Satumjay, 7th December, 1907, at 9p.m. Weights for the first day's events will be declared on or about Wednesday, 11th December, 1007, and or the second day's events at the office of the Club, at 7-30 on the evening of the first day. Acceptances for the first day's events will close with the Secretary, at the office of the Club, Bulls, on Wki>n*esi>av, 18th December, 1907, at 9 p.m., and for the second day's events at the same place at 9 o'clock on the evening of the First Day.' PENALTIES. The following penalties shall be carried by th winner of any race after declaration of weights:— Of the value of 50 sovs, Gib; of any race or races of the collective value of 100 sovs, 81b; 150 sovs, 101b; 800 sovs. and over, 141b, provided that any horse liandicaped at Bst 101b and over will only carry half these penalties. This rule docs not apply to Welter and Hurdle Races. HnuaE and Welter Racks. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101b; two or more races 171b. H.
