Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report holding a sale on Mr W. Hull's farm, Kohinui on Wednesday. There was a good attendance of settlers, and good average prices were obtained for the cows. The highest price was £7 Is. The average all round for the cows was £5 6s 6d, heifers in calf, to £5 12s 6d; bulls, £3. Keen competition for pigs—Slips from 15s to 245; sows in pig, £2_2s to £4 Is; empty sows to £2 2s; milk cans to 15s; trap £lO 10s. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale on Wednesday as follows:-—A small entry in both sheep and cattle met with a dull sale. Quotations Sheep—Fat ewes 13s 6d, store ewes in wool 12s. Cattle—Fat bullocks, £7 12s 6d, fat cows £4 to £5, 3-year steers £4 12s, 2-year steers (poor) £2, yearlings (mixed sexes) 18s to 31s, store cows £2 to £3 9s, empty heifers 35s to £3. Pigs- Weaners 12s 3d to 15s.
