SENTENCES OF IMPRISONMENT. Received December 10, 10.35 a.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 9. One of Abbott's kidnappers at Salonica was sentenced to fifteen years' penal servitude, another to twelve years, and eight to ten years (In March last a son of Mr Robert Abbot, a British merchant at Salonica, was kidnapped within a stone's-throw of the British Consulate. The brigands demanded £24,000 ransom, but accepted £13,000 from the British Government after the Turkish Government had declined to pay.)
