AN INDIAN OUTRAGE.
ATTEMPT TO DYNAMITE A TRA T N. NARROW ESCAPE OF A VICEREGAL PARTY. Received December 10, 8.47 a.m. BOMBAY, December 9. A dastardly outmge, which fortunately was unattended by loss of life, is reported. While a train was carrying Sir A. H. Fraser, Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal, and Lady Fraser, between Warayangar and Benapur, an attempt was made to dynamite it. Several sleepers were blown to fragments, and a big hole was made in the ground. The engine was not derailed, and no one was hurt.
