LAWLESSNESS IN IRELAND.
A DUBLIN MEMBER'S OPINION. Received December 9, 10.17 p.m. LONDON, December 9. Sir Ed. Carson, Conservative member for Dublin University, speaking at Macclesfield, and referring to the lawlessness in Ireland, declared that the English had better withdraw if they were not prepared to govern Ireland according to ordinary and elementary conditions of civilisation.
