Miss E. von Keiaenberg has been appointed local honorary secretary of the. Trinity College of Music, London. The appointment was made by Mr A. J. Wicks, who conducted the half-yearly theory of music examination in connection with Trinity College in Masterton on Saturday last. Mr A. H. Rudd, of Maryborough, has received information that he has succeeded in passing his final examination as an Associate of the Institute of Accountants of New Zealand. Tne examination was held in Christchurch in October last year-
Mr A. Hislop, who has been foreman of the railway running shed at Cro-s Creek for the past six years, is to be transferred to Wanganui.
Musical people in Mastered will be pleased to learn that Miss Eva W. Hood, A.T.C.L. (pianoforte) is coming to reside here. She will arrive next week from Oamaru to make arrangements to resume teaching the jianoforte alter the holidays.
