NAVAL BASIN AT ROSYTH.
A BIG SCHEME. LONDON, December 6. The Admiralty is constructing forthwith a naval basin at Rosyth. It will have an area of 56 acres, and be 36 feet deep at all tides. There will be quay space for twenty-two battleships, or forty-four banked two abreast, with a lock always accessible to the largest warships and giving access to the basin. The Admiralty is also constructing a graving dock.
