Sir Joseph Ward states that the through train fare from Wellington to Auckland will be £1 19s Id firstclass and £1 Is 2d second-class. The ordinary return fare will be double the single fare. The holiday return fare will be £3 lis first-class and £1 15s (id second-class. The carriages will be one foot wider than those now used. Trains will leave Wellington and Auckland daily at noon and arrive at the terminus at 8 o'clock next morning.
