CONSPIRING TO DEFRAUD.
HEAVY SENTENCES INFLICTED. Received December 2, 9.59 p.m. LONDON, December 2. A man named Preston, alias Redgrave, agent for one Coleman, an agent, was sentenced to ten years' servitude at the Old Bailey for conspiracy and forging and uttering .with intent to defraud the London, City and Midland Bank of £512. In the same connection Campbell, an electriciar, was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment, McQueen, a tailor, to five years, and Chiids, a photographer, who turned King's evidence, to nine months.
