METEOROLOGICAL.

Captain Edwin issued the following report'at i) a.m., yesterday, for the subsequent 24 hours: — Wind—Strong to gale from the northward at all places north of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan, and from the westward thence southward to 'Hokitika and Kaikoura, but from the southward everywhere else. Barometer —Fall at all places, but rising northward of Hokitika and Kaikoura after ten hours. Rain is probable in all parts of the country. Warning signals for northerly gale is exhibited at Cape Maria Van Diemen and Tiritiri, and for westerly gale at Capes Campbell, Farewell Spit, and Foulwind, and for southerly gale at Nugget Point.
