NAVIGATION OF THE AIR.
A SMART FRENCH AIRSHIP. Received November 25, 9 a.m. PARIS, November 24. The French airship "La Patrie" made a six and three-quarter hours' ascent, rovering 269 kilometres. She steered back to Paris after a record run. Sometimes she attained a speed of thirty miles an hour. A SUCCESSFUL VOYAGE. Received November 25, 9.35 p.m. PARIS, November 25. The Patrie, with a crew of five, left Chalais Meudon a little before 9 a.m., and reached Verdum at a quarter to four o'clock without replenishing the supply of hydrogen. Immense enthusiasm was shown over the success of the airship.
