METEOROLOGICAL.
Captain Edwin issued the following report at 9 a.m., yesterday, for the subsequent 24 hours Wind— Moderate to strong from the westward at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan; strong to gale from same direction thence southward to Napier after 16 to 20 hours; strong to gale from the northward everywhere else. Barometer—Littlt movement northward of Napier and New Plymouth. Rain is probable southward Of Napier and New Plymouth. Warning signal for northerly gale is exhibited at Capes Campbell, Foulwind and Farewell Spit, and for .westerly gale at Nugget Point.
