STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Eketahur.a sale, held on Friday, as follows:—All sheep advertised came forward. More cattle were in than advertised. Bidding was not quite so brisk as last sale. Settlers shearing. We quote:—Ewes with lambs at foot to 25s Id, hoggets to 17s, 2-year empty heifers £2 7s 6d, bulls to £4 4s. On Thursday, 21st inst., we held our Alfredton sale. We quote:—Ewe hogge's to 20s, forward ewes 14s Del, 3-year steers to £4 10s, empty heifers to £3 10s. We also held a sale on the same day at Mr H. Lamb's farm, Alfredton. There was a good attendance of local settlers, and bidding was brisk. We quote:—- Four-year steers to £6 lr, 3-year steers £4 10s, yearling steers 455, horses to £24 15s. Implements and sundries good values.
