METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m. yesterday the following ■report was issued by Captain Edwin for the subsequent 24 hours:— Wind.—Moderate strong from the ' eastward at all places north of Naipier, Wanganui, and Hokitika, and from the northward elsewhere. Barometer.—Fall slowly northward ■■of East Cape Taupo, and Manuka ■Heads; little movement elsewhere.
