QUEENSLAND POLITICS. DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT GRANTED. Received November 20, 1.10 a.m. BRISBANE, November 20. Mr Philp, aftev announcing that the Governor had granted a dissolution of Parliament, moved the necessary resolutions for supply, and then moved the adjournment of the House till to-morrow. Mr Kidston called for a division on the motion for adjournment. The latter was defeated by 37 votes to 25, thereupon Mr Kidston moved an adjournment till Friday. The late Premier made an attack on the Government, and said Mr Philp, in advising the Governor to grant a dissolution had assumed a grave responsibility. When the people knew what he had done they would pay him out with the interest. .Mr Philp interjected that he was prepared to take the chances. Mr Kidston said the chances were small. Mr Philp created a sensation by declaring that he would use the people's money to carry on whether the people desired it or not. Mr Kidston said he hoped that wiser counsels would prevail. If the battle had to be fought he would fight it because upon it decided the self-governing liberties of the country. The motion for ' the adjournment until Friday was carried.
