CARTERTON SHOW.
I From Our Own Correspondent. Monday. The thirtieth annual show of the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society, to be held on the Showgrounds, Belvedere Road, on Wednesday and Thursday, will comt up to the standard of excellence of previous shows, providing the weather keeps fine. A number of improvements to the grounds and buildings have been carried out by the committee during the year, and everything will be inovder for the opening day on Wednesday. The catalogue contains a larce number of entries in all classes. The display of farm implements and agricultural machinery will be a feature of the show, and the riding and jumping competitians will no doubt create a great amount of interest. A good display of home industries will occupy one side of the Agricultural Hall, and when the interior of the building is fitted up the display will be very attractive. Given a fine day the attendance of the public on People's Day will be a record.
