SEDDON MEMORIAL FUND.
DISAPPOINTING RETURNS. ACCOUNT TO BE CLOSED. By'Telegraph—Press •XssochUion. WELLINGTON, November 18. The general committee of the Seddon National Memorial Fund met today. The interim report showed that the amount in hand is £765. Several subscriptions have yet to come in, and there is £4OO collected by the railway servants throughout the dominion, which it is expected will shortly be handed over to the committee. The committee regretted that the sum subscribed throughout the dominion was so small, though this is partly due to the fact that local memorials have been established. A sub-committee was appointed to close accounts.
