In the senior cricket competition yesterday Albion (287 runs) defeated Dunedin (187 and 59) by an innings and 41 runs. In Dunedin's first innings Mackersey made 76. Grange defeated Carisbrook B by 23 runs on the first innings. The formir made 97 and 177 for seven wickets (Brydone 39 not out, Downes 33, Chadwick 13 not out), and Carisbrook 74 and 111 for seven wickets (Austin 45, Foster 26). Carisbrook A beat Opoho by eight wickets. Carisbrook made 131 and 50 for two wickets, and Opuho 80 and 100.
