Time; Bmin 26 2-ssec. Won by five lengths. Dividend, .£1 19s. Maiden Hurdles, 1£ mile.—Swagsman, 10.2 (Home), 1; Lady Lantor, 9.7 (Julian), 2; Tui, 10.1 (Howard), 3. Also started—Tarakihi. Won by four lengths. Time, 2min 58sec. Dividend, £6 9s. Parnell Handicap, 6 furlongs.— Tamainupo, (Deeley), 1; Loftus, 8.4 (Davis), and Loch Buhu, 7.6 (Gray), dead beat, 2. Won by a length and a half. Time, 1 rnin 15 l-ssec. Dividends—Tamainupo £8 7s, Loftus 15s. Also started-Laay Regal, Mignon, Pearl Necklet, Waihou, Engraver, La Cigale, Lady Cressy, Wauchope Tupewha, Dardanus, Puhipuhi, Cyreniac, Lady Dot, Veronica. Won by three lengths. Pearl Necklet fell, but the rider (A. Julian) escaped serious injury, being kicked in the face, but no bones were broken. Time, lmin 2 l-ssec. (Dividends not sent.)
