THE "PRO-BLACKS." DEFEATED BY BARROW. By Telegraph—Press Association, Raceived November 15, 10.36 a.m. LONDON, November 15. The New Zealand team played Barrow to-day, and were defeated by two tries to one. There was even play ' in the first half, each side scoring a try. Subsequently Barrow pressed the visitor, and were unlucky not to score more heavily. The following table shows the matches played and the scores to date. It also shows, in parentheses,

Widnes —Won by 26 points to 11 - 4 goals 6 tries to 1 goal 3 tries. (Won 9, lost 10, 12th position in Ltague). Broughton Rangers —Won by 20 to 14. (Won 17, lost 12, 9th position in League. Wakefield Trinity—Draw, 5 points. (Won 12, lost 15, 16th position in League). Leeds.—Won by 8 points to 2 —l goal 2 tries to 1 goal. (Won 19, lost 9, 6th position in League). St. Helens —Won by 24 points to 5 —3 goals and 6 tries to 1 goal and 1 try. (Won 9, lost 17, 22nd position in League.) , Merthyr Tydvil —Won by 27 points to 9—3 goals, 7 tries to 3 tries. (A new club, not in League last year.) Keighley—Won by 9 points to 7 3 tries to 2 goals and a try. (»Won 17, lost 6, 4th position in League). Wigan—Lost by 8 point* to 12 —1 goal and 2 tries to 4 tries. (Won 23; lost 10, sth position in League). Barrow—Lost by 3 points to 6 1 try to 2 tries. Record —Played 11, won 8, lost 2, drawn 1; points for 174 points against 89.
