WAIRARAPA P. AND A. SOCIETY.
The entries for the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society's thirtieth annual show, next week, at •Carterton, have proved very satisfactory. Cattle in the beef sections show a falling off, as was anticipated, but dairying classes are well up to the average and the class ior best milker is again well represented. ■Competitions show a large increase in exhibits, and both the first and second (people's) days' events should prove interestingvLand attractive to visitors. are well filled, and particularly in the miscellaneous section show plenty of competition. Sheep exhibits are well 'ahead in numbers of last year's entries, and the quality will doubtless be quite ud to the high standard -usually presented on the Carterton .Showgrounds. Cheese, butter and bread exhibitors are showing in large numbers, and the Society s Agricultural Hall will again prove •one of the attractions of the show One half of the large space will be (filled with produce and the other half will, as usual, be devoted to various -exhibits of bicycles, pianos, separators, seeds, etc. The Society suould have a record attendance on Thursday, 21st November, (people's day).
