SIR PERCY SCOTT'S CONTEMPT.
THE "PAINT SHIP" SIGNAL. REAR-ADMTRAL REPRIMANDED. Received November 13, 9 a.m. LONDON, November 12. There has been a sequel to the-un-usual incident in which Rear-Admiral Sir Percy ?>'!. Scott played a prominent part. Admiral - Scott was ordered to attend on the flagship, where Lord Charles Beresford, in the presence of Admirals Constance and Roley, read his general signal of reprimand —namely, that Rear-Admiral Scott's signal was contemptuous in tone and insubordinate, and must be expunged from the signal records of the Good Hope (Admiral Scott's flagship) and the Roxburgh.
