KAISER'S VISIT TO ENGLAND.

FOG UPSETS RECEPTION. ROYAL EMBRACES. Received November 13, 9 a.m. LONDON, November 12. A dense fop: upset the reception to the Kaiser a 4; Portsmouth. The Prince of Wales, in a torpedoer, boarded the Royal yacht Hohenzoltern, at Spithead, were the Channnel Fleet saluted. The fleet was manned and dressed over all. The mist spoilt the impressiveness of the spectacle. Th-j Kaiser wore the uniform of a British Admiral. King Edward and Queen Alexandra met the Kaiser and Kaiserin at the Windsor station, and affectionately embraced. The Kaiser remarked to the Lord Mayor: "It seems like home again coming to Windsor. I am always glad to be here." The Kaiser issued a notice expressing the fact' that he had been deeply touched by the cordiality of his reception at Portsmouth and Windsor. A BIG BAG. AND A STATE BANQUET* THE KAISER IS REMINISCENT.

Received November 13, 10.1, p.m. LONDON, November 13. Shooting at Windsor, the Kaiser bagged 700 birds. At the State banquet in St. George's Hall, Hi- Majesty King Edward, in proposing the toast of "The Guests," referred to the Kaiser's kindness and sympathy on the occasion of the late Queen Victoria's death, and expressed the sincere pleasure the visit would give himself and Queen Alexandra and the whole of his people. The Kaiser replied: "Many dear memories of bygone days link me to the English royal family." He tonchingly referred to the earliest days of his happy childhood spent under the roof and within the walls of the frand old Windsor Castie. He earnestly hoped that the close relationship between the two families would be, reflected in the relationship of the two countries thus confirming the peace of the world, which it had been the constant endeavour of hiin „elf and King Edward to preserve. The Kaiser conferred the Order of the Black Eagle on the Dukes of Argyle and Wellington, and the Red Eagle on Earl Beauchamp.
