NATIVE LAND BILL.
MAORIS WANT TIME TO CONSIDER THE MEASURE. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 12. Yesterday afternoon the Native Minister received a deputation of Maori chiefs regarding the Native Land Bill. The Hon. J. Carroll expressed the opinion that the bill was directed to secure the best interests of the natives.
