SHOCKING ACCIDENT.

A YOUNG GIRL SCALPED. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 11. A young girl, named, Margai-et Wright, aged 15, met with a shocking accident to-day. She was employed as a machine hand at the Defiance Clothing Factory on the Newton Road, and, while working there got her hair caught in a shaft, half her scalp being torn off. She was at once removed to the hospital, where she now lies in a very serious condition.
