LEPER PATIENTS.
THREE FROM NORTH ISLAND. SfeCRECY OBSERVED BY / HEALTH DEPARTMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, November 8. A young Maori leper saii to be a resident of Pahiatua, was brought down by the Rotomahatia, this morning, and taken to the leper station at Quail Island. It is understood that two other patients for Quail Island are to be brought down from the North Island shortly, but the utmost secrecy is being observed by the health authorities.
