JUSTICE FOR NATIVE RACES DEMANDED. A POWERFUL APPEAL. Received November 7, 11.9 p.m. LONDON, November 7. A powerful appeal to the nation to support the Government in insisting, in pursuance of the treaty rights, upon the termination of the misrule in the Congo Free State and securing justice and good government for the native races, signed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the President of the Free Church Council, and men of almost every walk of life irrespective of party, including five Lord Mayors, has been published in the press.
