TIDAL WAVE AT SUVA.

CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE DONE. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 6. News from Samoa by the Atua contains an account of a tidal wave at Matautu, Suva, on October 6th. Boats were smashed, and much damage done. The boats and copra sheds along the water tront and private residences also suffered. When the wave reached Brunt's residence, it was about six feet high. It smashed the windows and poured into the house and rendered it uninhabitable. The wave also smashed the buggy shed, and destroyed three buggies.
