In presenting Mr Egan with a handsome set of silver carvers Mr C. J. McKellar refered to the splendid services Mr Egan had rendered his club and the esteem in which he was held by the members. Messrs J. Bradbury and V. G. Darroch made reference to Mr Egan's popularity among cricketers generally. Ihe recipient suitably acknowledged the gift.
