MASTERTON CRICKET COUNCIL.
The adjourned meeting of the JVlas- ' treton Cricket Council was held, last evening, there being present- Messrs E. Collinge (chairman), J. Bradbury, F. P. Welch, H. Kali. C. Perry, Wilson, and A. Esson. On the motion of Mr Collinge, it was decided that the fees charged by the Masterton Park Committee for the use of the Oval for criclut be paid equally by all senior clubs playing or practising on the oval. An amendment proposed by Mr Bradbury, that half the amount be paid by the Thursday clubs and half by the Saturday clubs, was lost. It was also decided, on the motion of Mr Collinge, that any rule may be altered at the annual meeting without giving any notice of motion, provided that the delegates present are unanimous. An amendment moved by Mr Perry, to the effect that any rule may be altered at the annual meeting subject to three days' notice of such proposed alteration being given to the secretaries of affiliated clubs, was lost..
