Bro. G. Carter has been elected N.G, of the Eketahuna Oddfellows' Lodge, Bro. H. C. Manguson V.G., and Bro. E. Olssen E.S. A coachbuilder, named John Langford, dropped dead in the bar of the Masonic Hotel, Woodville, on Friday evening, about 8 o'clock. He was abcut 60 years of age, and has a grown-up family living in Wellington.

Mr F. Barratt, of the Levin Farmer, who on June 24th met with an accident by an explosion of acetylene gas, is still in the Wellington Hospital. Mr Barratt is paralysed in the right arm, and is in a very low condition.
