. . Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on their Martinborough stock sale on Thursday. There was a small yarding in both sheep and cattle. These met with good demand, all lots selling. We quote :•—Sheep—Fat and forward wethers, 245; fat and forward ewes, 235; hoggets, 13s 3d to 17s 9d. Cattle—Fat cows £6 ss; springing heifers, £2 15s to £3 10s; cows and calved, poor, 36s 6d.
