RATES OF PAYMENT TO I PLAYERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received November 1, 9.58 a.m. SYDNEY, November 1. - The Professional Rugby League has adopted a code of laws, which will include payment of players at a rate not exceeding 10s per day for loss of time or salary, with 7s 6d day when playing outside and 5s when playing inside-his own State for personal expenses. Provision is also made for payment of medical expenses and £2 a week to an injured player while he is incapacitated from following his usual occupation.
