MASONIC.
CONSECRATION OF THE MARTINBOROUGH LODGE. The consecration of the Lodge Waihenga, No. 150, Maryborough, took pla6e on Thursday afternoon. The attendance was exceptionally large, about 150 brethren being present, including visitors from neighbouring lodges and various lodges throughout the dominion. The ceremony was conducted by Most Worshiptul Bro. Lord Plunket, G.M., assisted by Right Wor. Bro. R. Fletcher, Grand Superintendent, and V.W. Bro. A. M. Johnson, Grand Chaplain, and past and present officers of the sister Lodges. After the consecration ceremony the following officers were installed: —W.M., Wor. Bro. G. T. P. Hutton, P.M.; S.W., Bro. F. E. Perry; J.W., Bro. H. Mackay; Treasurer, Bro. A. D. McLeod; Secretary, Bro. Alex. MacGregor; S.D., Bro. G. H. Grimmer; J.D., Bro. D. M. Lister; 1.G., B:o. W. Chapman; 0.G., Bro. A. Wright. A banquet was subsequently ■ held and an enjoyable evening spent.
