Martin, travelling representative in this district for the Australian' Widow Fund Life Assurance Society, has been, awarded first prize in the. agents competition for the most new! 'business from .t'dly. Ist to October 31st, inclusive. Mr R. Crawley has ■ been appointed conductor of the Carterton Orchestral Society.
