MASTERTON CLUB. j Men's Championship. — The final for the Men's Championship between D. Donald and C. C. Cox, played yesterday, resulted in a win for Cox by 4up 3 to play. The winner's score was 85; first 9 holes 43, and second, 42. This score being the best medal score for the season entitles the winner to hold the record challenge shield for the year. Putting Competitions.— In the men's competition W. .P. James and C. C. Cox tied for first place with 19 each. In the play-off W. P. Jam.es won. ■Mrs W. P. James and the Misses J. Robieson and Gower have tied for the ladies' competition with 19 each. They will play off aTan early date.
