MARYLEBONE TEAM'S TOUR. MATCH AGAINST WESTERN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received October 29, 9.38 a.m. PERTH, October 29. The match of the Marylebone Club team of cricketers against West Australia was resumed yesterday. The remainder of the Englishmen were disposed of for an additional 52. The innings closed for 402. Rhodes was the only other player to make a stand, remaining not out for 32. Christian took five wickets for 132, Solk three for 106. Western Australia's first innings totalled 152, the chief scorers being Parker 22, Hogue (not out) 60, Robinson 23. Barnes took three wickets for 53, Crawford four for 28. Following on, the local team scored 12 without the loss of a wicket.
Application is to be made to the Borough Council for the use of the Park Oval on November 11th for a match between the Saturday and Thursday representative teams. The following' team will represent the Carlton Club against Stars tomorrow :—Aymes, Boyd (2), Cor.gdon, Isaacs, Long, Munro, F. Welch, Owen, Waters and J. Wickens. Emergencies—Roberts and Collie. The Carlton A and B teams in the Saturday Championship will meet on the Park Oval on Saturday next. The teams are as follow:—A team: Ogier, A. Welch, E. Welch, Waters, Isaacs, Moss, Hoar, Allen, O'Leary, Barlow, Darvill. Emergencies—Morns and A. Hoar. B team: Aymes, A. Hoar, Denby, Morris, U Welch, Ken. Welch, Hope, Bert Welch, W. Bannister, Bentley, Chamberlain, V. Williams, Sheppard, J. Wickens and M. Welch. Emergency—Wheeler.
